"The Actresses were appearing at Comic Con in costume for the Doctor Who section, when they learned that the convention was hosting auctions to help raise money for several charities. The ladies also wanted to help raise money since it was for a good cause, so they thought that it would be a good idea to put themselves up for auction in which the winner gets the pleasure of having both girls as their date for the rest of the event. Unfortunately for the actresses they signed the wrong auction agreement, The agreement they signed was for the bondage convention being held in the same building. Before the ladies knew when they had done, they were already made "auction ready" and objections they tried to make were dismissed as getting into character. As the bidding started both girls realized it was to late to do anything but wait for the event to come to an end and remember to read the whole contract next time."

While I'm REALLY against human trafficking and rape and anything like that, there is something INCREDIBLY appealing about this kind of stuff. Maybe it's just the power fantasy? Or the power-less fantasy? I can't explain it myself, and if it happened IRL it would be horrible, but like I said: the fantasy has MASS appeal.

Anywho, Oswin's dress posed a real challenge at first. It just looked.. stripey. It wasn't until Al looked at it and said "The highlights need to be more like... more like fish shapes" that it clicked. Rendering textures is super cool, and this was an awesome challenge.
As for Oswin's shoes... gah, they're just so... so... SO CUTE!
