Heart's ''Breaker''

Heart wields a magical two handed blade named Diakóptikardiá (pronounced die-ah-cope-tea-car-dee-ah), although it is more commonly known as "Breaker". It is 5'6" end to end and technically weighs 5 lbs, although its weight is a strange thing.

Because of its magical properties, when Breaker is handled by anyone other than Heart it weighs anywhere from 20lbs to 100lbs, and it tends to 'misbehave'; seeming to deliberately miss targets or get caught in the surrounding terrain at inopportune times.

Conversely, the sword seems to magnify the strength of Heart's blows in response to her intentions. If Heart is striking to kill, beware. She may be a princess, but her blows will strike as if a giant were wielding the blade.

The blade also seems to bring luck to Heart in battle, although she is an accomplished swordswoman without such an advantage. Blocking an otherwise lethal blow at just the right angle, or striking at precisely the right spot to disable her attacker.

Finally, Heart's blade being magical is able to strike any being... magical, extra-planar, or otherwise. It is a devastating dragon killer.

Heart is seldom seen without "Breaker" at her side. For many it is the symbol of the establishment of the 101 Knights and order in Lustra. Heart's enemies refer to it as her "Bloody Friend".

Despite several attempts to steal the blade, it has always found its way back to Heart.  Heart seems to regard her blade as a companion at times, but her closest companions know that there is something more to the blade... something that Heart is afraid of.

Heart has never disclosed how she came to possess such a blade, and its exact nature and purpose remain a mystery.
