Just bought a brand new Epson v500. It's a scanner, and it is LIGHTYEARS ahead of what I was using before.
To celebrate, I've been scanning tons! Including the concept work for Hey Listen. You can read some of the notes for ideas, back when I was calling the project "Mod," on the sketch pages proper.
It started with that first illustration. I just wanted to draw something... different. A new style. And this one is just too fun.
Last March was when I was working out the concepts for female Link and male Zelda. The last images were drawn over Christmas while visiting relatives. I like the boots from the concept image of Link, and would probably use them instead of what I have near the bottom or top.
^_^ Still working like crazy on wedding stuff. That said, I'm chompin at the bit to get back to drawing this kind of stuff again
I was going with "No" for Ganon being genderbent. ^^ Although, maybe I should invert the whole universe? *Shrugs* I think part of the fun is having only one or two characters going through the change.
It's very interesting to see how one plans out their work, I love insight into how others do their magic. That said, the drawings, the more cartoony and more serious alike, are very cool. If these are just concepts for a story, I can't wait to see it put into motion.
Love your style, by the way.
Yes yes, I LOVE my scanner. Hopefully you took the plunge and can see why it's an excellent investment.
nice work by the way.
