Here's the finished version of [link] . Thanks a lot to [link] for her insightful tutorial. Throughout this piece I worked with color relativity and, towards the end, I was starting to develop some very nice techniques for implementing it.

Once again, I'm getting into a storyline that I likely can't continue. By the end I was really starting to plot out the entire arch: an alliance between villains, each taking on the other's rivals.

I'm sure you can see where this goes... Samus either being saved or breaking free and having to save Mario and company from Ridley, not to mention Metroids, but also trapped in the Damsel character. Princess Toadstool in the Power Suit and not knowing the first thing to do. Role reversals all around.

I did have a comic idea I thought up in highschool called RetroSpect, which involved these kinds of shenanigans. After my checklist of other items, perhaps I can return to this.
