As I drafted this, I became physically angry while working out the polaroids and comments scrawled below. With friends like that... well...

Still. Chet always makes me smile.
Ignorance is bliss and all that.

Finally, there was some debate over the dialogue. At first I thought something dramatic like "I will never forgive you for this!" or archaic like "A pox upon you!", would have been a nice key phrase. But after drafting the comic I found the most poetry in a fist to the face.

Thanks for stoppin by!

Oh! Well yes, most artists do that. ^^; That's why people who draw sad people all the time tend to be sad. ( <- Gross simplification)

I wondered how they could be so chipper and draw that :D

In defense of the two friends (or at least the cynical one, since the other one is a bit dippy), Noah has apparently decided to become a public crossdresser, and then went on what could be construed as a date. And remember, they don't know that the clothes are making him do it. So, they're concerned that such behavior will reflect on them in less-than-desirable ways.

Of course, this is the worst possible way to try to shock Noah out of acting the way he is. Publicly embarrassing someone like that is more likely to get them to continue the behavior out of scorn or spite, rather than less. After all, the worst has already happened (or certainly, something really bad).

So, there is something wrong with being a crossdresser and being out in public?

From the perspective of the two friends (or at least the dark-haired one), yes. Which was the point of the post. I certainly wasn't talking about my opinion on the matter. That begs the question of why you seemed to assume that my post was about my personal opinion, when it should have been very clear that I was discussing the viewpoint of the characters in the strip.

Actually, I was asking as a general question, not commenting on a personal opinion. Opinions are just that, opinions. As for the two friends, while one might have issues with Noah/Noell's clothing, one seems more than a little oblivious but happy to go along with the other friend's opinion. Kind of typical, really.
