Purpose: This comic is setup for the rest of the story arch, a mandatory bridge point connecting the initial incident to the resulting chaos.
Feelings: Conveying the information clearly was a challenge. How does one establish setting (return home) and action (attacked by inanimate objects) and still maintain any level of art?
Answer: Well, messing with the panels for a start. Like breaking panel two for instance, and the sense of time expressed in panel three. After all, comedy is 99.9% timing.
Initially I had a dialogue bubble of Noah (protagonist) saying (Oh well...) in panel three. I showed it to and she suggested removing it entirely. It certainly creates a sense of timelessness.
Medium: Pencil and Paper Time: Three hours Material Girl (c) Me
Faved,as I will the rest of the series.
