Here's a taste of the more full-fledged animation I'd like to mess around with. Only a taste though. ^_^ There's still so much to learn!
The turtle animation in the middle bit started out as a Paper Mario sprite that I altered to reflect the established art style.
I can't wait to get back to Samus!
Enjoy ^^ ~Heart

P.S. I wanted the closing bit of animation to be eerie. Hopefully that got across!
P.P.S. The turtle sprite in the first part, the first "Three panels" was made from scratch! What do you think? I'm super stoked about building more sprites for this project and others.
P.P.P.S. A quick shoutout to who suggested I change the window aspect ratio to accomodate screen sizes. Thanks yo! Hopefully 800x600 does the trick.
I love the little Koopa running along the bottom of the screen in the first segment. I think it gives a good sense that time is passing while he checks up on everyone and it helps illustrate his urgency. The animated koopa scene works really well too. The changes in expressions seem natural enough and the 'spoken' dialogue looks to be coming in at a good speed. I particularly like the simple "He Must" panel. I feel it's implying a lot about the Koopa's mindset. Either he's trying to reassure himself that his king will indeed have the answers or he could be afraid of just what he'll find when he gets to Bowser.
I think you did a good job on this update. I look forward to seeing what you'll do next time.
smooth animation. I've seen much Worse stuff in youtube
Cool work with the sprites!
