Okay, that first panel?   Can I be real with you guys for a minute?   The absolute WORST.  And here's my little story behind it.

Obviously a panel like that would take like, years to draw from scratch, so I thought this would be a perfect opportunity to try a technique an art friend of my recommended.  See in manga they'll do this thing where they take a photo and straight up trace over it.   So I'm like:  wth, if the industry guys are doing it why not try it myself?

You know why not?   Because a trace over of a photo looks like a TRACE OVER OF A PHOTO.

I ended up going back and completely redoing it.   The background was just an absolute disaster that I abandoned ship on.   The foreground was starting to work but ONLY BECAUSE I WAS ACTUALLY DRAWING IT and not just straight up tracing.

God.

I feel like Heart looks on that second panel.

Her long islands came out nice though.

It doesnt matter to me as long as we get to see how the story unfolds eventually
Too many people on DA focus so much on the art for a story, they eventually quit the story before its ending
